Saint Louis Supercross Photos now posted!
What a great venue, and awesome event this was! Again welcomed by the Voss family, and the folks at MDK Wonder Warthog racing, I had a great time both watching and doing what I could to help out. The most interesting event for me ended up being a track walk with the US Air Force, and representitives from MasterCraft boats lead by Heath Voss. During the tour of the track, Heath explained some portions of the track to people who don't normally follow supercross. I really liked the Edward Jones Dome, it provided a nice walkway around the stadium to take pictures during the races, which kept me from having to sit down! Being a photographer, it is hard for me to sit still during a race, I like to see all the angles! If you get time, please visit their team site in the link above, and set yourself up with a login to MX Resultz. With the Resultz site you can apply for sponsorships with major corporations. Unlike Sponsorhouse, their support can be in the form of money to support riders or teams, in addition to the normal price discounts you can get other places. Also on their site, you can migrate up the ranks of riders by participating in races, and placing well! Enjoy the gallery, but remember that I wasn't a credentialed photographer, I was only able to take photos from the stands which was way out of reach for my flash. I am still working on becoming a credentialed photographer for events like this, but there is quite a bit of red tape to get past!
 New Update from the folks at KC!
The gang at KC Race Promotions are is still alive and doing quite well. They wanted me to pass along the news that they are currently going through some issues with their web service. They have moved all of their KC Race Promotions activities over to a new URL http://www.racefreex.com/kcrace.html . Craig hasn't told me if this is temporary or not so keep tuned to both sites for future updates! First race starts April 25th 2008
Detroit Supercross Pictures now uploaded!!
Detroit Supercross pictures are now up on MXMatt.com! I have an article in the works regarding this event, including some additional pictures to be posted up at a later date so keep tuned to the site for more details. Recently, Team G-Dogg Racing and I have been invited back to Minnesota Native, and 2004 World Supercross champion, Heath Voss's ranch outside of San Antonio Texas. With all that went on, the word "Awesome" is all I can say about this trip! The Voss family again made us feel like we were close relatives, treating us to great food, and hours of fun at Heath's parents lake home. While we were staying, Heath was also hosting some other Minnesotans who we became good friends with during our trip.
